John Broadus Watson
His 1913 article, "Psychology as the behaviorist views it" (1913) was a critique of mentalist psychology and a proposal for a different perspective, focusing on the objective study of behavior, regardless of awareness or introspection use as a method to find valid data in psychology.
John Broadus Watson
Frankl:
Reverse psychology was developed by Viktor Emil Frankl, a Jewish Austrian psychiatrist who survived the Holocaust in concentration camps such as Auschwitz and promoter of the famous speech therapy. His theory and subsequent technique is shown very well with its examples:
"A patient has insomnia. He is asked why he does not sleep, he replies that even if you try fails. It is told that when you go to bed instead of trying to fall asleep that try to keep awake as long as possible. The patient falls asleep. "
"Why do not you commit suicide?". At that time people imagined the incident and found a reason not to, from which Frankl began to work to hold their patients that reason clutching them to life.
VIKTOR EMIL FRANKL:
CARLS ROGERS:
His therapeutic method, client-centered therapy, or non-directive therapy, part of the central hypothesis that the individual possesses in itself means for self understanding and changing the self-concept, attitudes and behavior self directed. The therapist should provide a favorable climate for psychological attitudes that the patient can exploit the media. Two main features of client-centered therapy:
1. The radical trust in the person of the customer (patient)
2. The rejection of the leadership role of the therapist.
According to this perspective, the humanism of existentialism incorporates the following concepts:
* The human being is elective, thus able to choose their own destiny.
* The human being is free to establish their own life goals; Y
* Human beings are responsible for their own choices.
CARLS ROGERS:
